Community Partners

AYR Prides Itself on Its Quality Community Partners

Atlanta Youth Rugby aims to build community through sport. We believe we can best accomplish this by bringing rugby camps, clinics, and school programs to established community organizations. These organizations have established and maintained a great reputation with those they serve and beyond. Below are some of our current AYR partners!

The Ascent Project

The Ascent Project works to develop healthy families and communities. TAP is the community side of an organization dedicated to constructing and managing safe, mixed-income housing, and building communities with all the elements to ensure their long term viability. These include great schools, safe streets, access to transportation, employment and recreation. Find out more here!

WINGS for Kids aims to equip at-risk kids with the skills they need to succeed in school, stay in school, and thrive in life. WINGS provides after school programming to nine Title 1 elementary schools in the Atlanta area. Read about their goals and future plans here.

Cowart YMCA

YMCA of Metro Atlanta is an association of volunteers, members and staff, open to and serving all, with programs and services which build spirit, mind, and body. AYR partnered this summer specifically with Cowart YMCA, where we offered rugby programming to their campers! Find more about the mission and impact of the YMCA here.
